EXCLUSIVE: Lawless Dublin—Gardaí Stand Helplessly By as Shovel Brawl Erupts at Citywest

The mainstream media won't show you this, but the reality of law and order in modern Ireland is playing out in broad daylight on social media.

Exclusive video footage captured on the ground by Paul Nolan shows a scene of utter lawlessness at Citywest Shopping Centre today, where a vicious brawl erupted right in front of completely ineffective Gardaí.

Shovels Swung in Broad Daylight

It comes as no surprise that national broadcasters refuse to air Nolan's clip. Raw footage that documents what is actually happening on the streets is routinely ignored by the mainstream press. The video, however, speaks for itself.

The video shows a dispute rapidly turning violent outside the shopping centre. A jeep pulls up, and two men exit armed with heavy shovels before violently swinging them at two other men in the middle of the street.

Gardaí Frozen and Ineffective

What is even more damning than the violence itself is the reaction of the authorities.

Two uniformed Gardaí stand just feet away as the shovels are swung. Rather than intervening or taking command of the situation, the officers appear entirely overwhelmed, failing to halt the altercation while the armed men carry out the assault directly in front of them.

The Establishment Blackout

Dublin suburbs continue to see escalations in public disorder and weapon-wielding brawls, yet when raw footage surfaces exposing the sheer inability of state forces to maintain order, institutional broadcasters look the other way.
